We process personal data only for legitimate platform purposes, to provide the marketplace, to protect users, to comply with legal obligations, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.

2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, password hash, gender where provided, account status, language, country, notification preferences, verification status, login/session information, and account timestamps.
- Profile data: display name, username, avatar, professional title, country, languages, skills, biography, business information, availability, timezone, portfolio links, resume, intro video, certifications, education, work experience, and seller or client preferences.
- Marketplace data: services, packages, pricing, search tags, categories, gallery files, requests, offers, order requirements, messages, attachments, delivery files, reviews, ratings, lists, referrals, support notes, and dispute-related information.
- Payment and earning data: payment method selection, Sham Cash identifier or QR code where provided, payment reference codes, payment confirmation timestamps, order prices, currencies, earning summaries, referral credits, and operational payment records. We do not intentionally collect full bank passwords or payment account login credentials.
- Identity verification data: identity document type, uploaded identity documents, submitted timestamps, approval or rejection status, reviewer notes, and related evidence needed for trust, safety, fraud prevention, and compliance.

- To improve platform features, search quality, recommendations, analytics, security, usability, and performance.
- To send service messages, notifications, account alerts, policy updates, and support replies.
- To comply with accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, law-enforcement, and dispute-resolution obligations where applicable.
5. Legal bases
Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on contract performance to provide the platform, legitimate interests such as security and marketplace trust, consent where requested for optional processing, legal obligations where we must retain or disclose data, and vital or public-interest grounds where necessary to prevent serious harm or comply with lawful requests.
6. Public visibility and search engines
Some data is public by design. Public freelancer profiles, display names, usernames, avatars, professional titles, skills, languages, country, about text, portfolio items, published services, service images, reviews, and selected statistics may be visible to visitors, logged-in users, search engines, and external referrers.
If an account is inactive, frozen, suspended, under review, incomplete, restricted, or otherwise not approved for public visibility, we may hide the public profile, services, requests, offers, or related marketplace content. Cached copies in search engines or third-party websites may take time to disappear and are not fully controlled by RahaLancer.
7. Identity documents and sensitive files
Identity documents and verification files are used to review account authenticity, prevent fraud, comply with legal requirements, and protect users. Access to these files should be limited to authorized administrators, service providers, or reviewers who need access for verification, security, legal, or support purposes.
Do not upload unnecessary sensitive documents unless requested. When you upload identity documents, payment screenshots, contracts, source files, or private business data, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share them.
8. Sharing personal data
We do not sell personal data in the ordinary meaning of selling a customer list. We may share data where necessary with:
- Other users, where needed for marketplace functionality, such as profile display, order details, requirements, messages, delivery files, and reviews.
- Service providers that support hosting, storage, databases, security, email, notifications, analytics, payment operations, identity verification, customer support, backups, and development.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, accountants, legal representatives, and compliance consultants.

Public content may remain visible until removed, hidden, or restricted. Order, payment, verification, message, and support records may be retained after account closure where needed for legal, safety, fraud, accounting, or dispute purposes.
12. Account closure and deletion
You may request account deletion or restriction by contacting support. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request. We may refuse, delay, or limit deletion where data is required for active orders, disputes, security investigations, legal obligations, fraud prevention, accounting, tax records, or protection of other users.
13. International processing
Depending on hosting, service providers, support operations, and user locations, personal data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
14. Children
The platform is not intended for children. Users must be legally able to use the platform and enter into binding agreements. If we learn that a child has provided personal data without valid authorization, we may restrict or delete the account and related data.
